UNC Receives Generous Donation from Minooka Subaru and Operation Warm

UNC is pleased to announce a generous contribution from Minooka Subaru through its Subaru Loves to Help initiative in partnership with Operation Warm. Together, they have donated hundreds of brand-new coats, shoes, and socks to benefit families through UNC’s Community Services Angel’s Attic Food and Clothing Pantry and students at the three Childcare Centers.

This thoughtful donation will significantly impact the lives of local families in need, especially during these challenging times. UNC continues to provide essential services, including food assistance, housing and utility support, health counseling, and more. In addition, UNC is dedicated to empowering individuals and families by offering job readiness programs and workforce development initiatives that help people secure sustaining careers in high-priority fields.

UNC also offers educational support to individuals of all ages, including English as a Second Language and adult literacy programs, which assist new immigrants in adjusting to life in the community. We are committed to strengthening the Pine Brook section of Scranton through its neighborhood revitalization efforts, improving the quality of life for residents, and creating new opportunities for growth and development.
