NBT Bank Supports UNC’s Carbondale Farmers Market

United Neighborhood Centers of Northeastern Pennsylvania (UNC) has received a generous $10,000 investment from NBT Bank through the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development’s Neighborhood Assistance Program (NAP). This funding will support the expansion of the Carbondale Farmers Market by recruiting and supporting rural farmers. The market takes place every Thursday year-round at the Fallbrook Senior Community Center, 185 Fallbrook Street, Carbondale.

Each week, our Carbondale Farmers Market features more than a dozen vendors offering fresh, locally sourced vegetables and goods. Visitors can also enjoy special events, pop-up vendors, cooking demonstrations, and more!

UNC Farmers Markets proudly accept SNAP/EBT, and benefit holders can receive an extra $2.00 for every $4.00 spent while shopping. For more information, please contact the UNC’s Carbondale Farmers Market Manager at fm@uncnepa.org. Stay connected—follow us on Facebook for updates on upcoming events!
