This position supports multiple UNC locations.

Hours: Full-time hours Monday through Friday.

 Position Summary:

Under the direction of the Director of Maintenance, the Custodian is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, order, and upkeep of both indoor and outdoor areas.

This role ensures a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and participants. Duties include cleaning, minor maintenance, and adhering to health and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Cleans offices, restrooms, common areas, outdoor spaces, floors, fixtures, and furniture.
• General cleaning responsibilities include vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, scrubbing, wiping, and sanitizing.
• Maintains the cleanliness of exterior walkways, parking areas, and entryways.
• Removes litter and debris from outdoor areas.
• Maintains stock levels, cleaning equipment and refilling dispensers.
• Ability to participate in snow removal-use of blowers/plows/shovels/salt carts.
• Experience in grounds keeping use of trimmers/mowers.
• Ability to lift 50lbs.
• All duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license is required with clean driving record.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from multiple locations, mileage reimbursement included.
